This last year has been the smallest route I have had in the last ten years that I have been riding. My usual route was 34 miles round trip. I have been riding in the Motor city, which is not friendly to cyclists. Due to the recent economy problems I am see more people riding their bikes. Hopefully, this will become more permanent rather than a temporary situation.
I am a middle age woman, who loves to ride a bike. One of my recent pet peeve are people who ask me "Are you going thru the "change?" when I come into a building with a little mositure on my forehead rather than see the bike outfit I have on.
Most recent trip was in 2007 when I was part of the Underground railroad trip.
