I am John Meacham, the guy behind www.bikecommute.com. Yes I am a bicycle commuter! I live in Orange County California. With the great weather we have here, everyone should commute by bicycle, however like most places in the United States most people drive a car to work, even if they work a few miles from home. My commute is 30 miles round trip. I commute by bicycle year round. (An update, I lost my job and am looking for a new job, anyone have a job lead for a IT project manager let me know, Thanks). One of the great things about commuting by bicycle is you can talk to people, I talk to crossing guards people walking, other bicycle commuters, people waiting for a bus, just all sorts of people. I love to share my bicycle commuting experience with people. I found other bicycle commuters also like to talk about bicycle commuting.
