Commutes 12 Kilometers Round Trip for 9 years and 7 months
Seven days a week, my bike is my primary transportation Year Round

for seven years, i used to commute 117km (one way) to and from Toronto every day in a BMW 320i — tired of being stuck in traffic, i sold my car, and moved in to the city and bought a bike. that's three less hours of commuting in traffic every day. now i live on toronto island, and do IT work and computer programming (check out pChess for OSX!). i visit clients through downtown toronto by bike (as theiDoctor.ca) — the average distance is 5-10km (one way), but as far as 15-20km on a run. this is year round — even in the canadian snow.

it is really encouraging living on toronto island — where beautiful year women proudly ride their bicycles — even through the snow in january. riding a bicycle has been the best decision i've ever made.
