Five Days a week, I use my bike to travel to and from work Year Round

Busy arterials, back-country, and residential roadways.

Been hit by cars twice. Both instances were motorist's fault. Learned that there is almost no liability to motorists to hitting a cyclist in my city. No moving violation fines and auto insurance covers the rest. Hitting a cyclist is cheap vs. hitting a car (unless the cyclist dies) and everybody presumes it's the cyclist's fault. Most motorists are good to cyclists despite all this.

I've been threatened by motorists to 'stay off the road'. Thus no full name. But I drove to work last week for the fist time in a long time and realized that some motorists are jerks no matter what your transport mode. So maybe I'm paranoid.
