I ride on major arteries with no designation for bikes. I am constantly yelled at to get off the street in both English and Spanish and there are lots of honkers down here.
I am an asthmatic, overweight 45 year old woman and I love my bicycle. I am a new bike commuter but have grown to love it and am now moving into more activism regarding bicycles.
I see and hear things on the bicycle I never saw in the car. I keep my car but hardly ever use it anymore...Long live the bike!
