Simple route. I moved to a house near my work to ease my daily travel. I live in a small town so no destination is more that 2 miles away. I do all my grocery shopping on my bike at a grocery store about 2 miles away.
Recently graduated from college, now working for the university. My car got repo'd about 2 years ago and at the time I was competing in triathlons. I used my tri-bike for a few months to get to school and work and later bought & customized a Trek 7100 hybrid to meet my commuting needs. I'm always looking for ways to increase the functionality of my bike.
I love my car-free lifestyle! I plan to eventually own a car again, but will definitely rely on it less. The bicycle lifestyle is healthy for my body and for the planet.
