I've actually been having a lot of trouble with my route lately. I've been encountering lots of hostility from folks in neighborhoods on my way home from work. I really hate busy streets, so I'd been using residential streets almost exclusively, especially since we moved south.
I'm a bike mechanic, I've been doing that for right about a year now as an occupation. I sometimes commute on my tallbike, though my mountain bike is so much faster it's hard to get motivated to pull it out.
