The route is mostly a bike lane through several housing developments. It is not a difficult route and is almost over before it begins. A nice time to wind down after work (and not get stuck in traffic).
I just recently started commuting to work (I should have started this years ago). My bike is a 1998 Specialized Globe with a 7 speed internal hub. It is a very nice bike (used) to which I have already added suspension for the seat post. Next I plan to add panniers so that I can make it more useful.
