Commutes 17 Kilometers RoundTrip for 5 years and months
Five Days a week, I use my bike to travel to and from work Year Round

From west end Halifax, across the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge, then to the north end of Dartmouth near the A. Murray Mackay Bridge.

My summer commuter is a 2002 Brodie Unibomber which I upgraded by adding a Kona Project 2 fork and a Shimano Deore disc brake. In winter a 1998 Raleigh Peak STX, 24-speed Shimano STX-RC drivetrain. I started using this bike when my trusty old Specialized Hardrock bit the dust after 4 winters. The Raleigh is the only bike of the 5 I own with rim brakes front and rear (the Brodie still has a rim brake on the back). No more rim brakes for me.
