Commutes 40 Klometers RoundTrip for 4 years and months
Two or less days a week, I am a bike commuter Year Round

I live just out of town towards Peggy's Cove. My route runs me down an old road that has aterrible shoulder. It can get a bit dodgy especially after snowing. It has some killer hills, I used to commute four times a week but ended up konking out at about 8:30 when I was putting the kids to bed. I LOVE bikes though. Always have, I used to race in the mid-80s. I still have my road bike. I ride a Gary Fisher mountain bike converted to commuting. The roads here are punishing on a bike especially after the spring frost. I bike to the downtown core of Halifax, a great city. Most of the drivers here are courteous but are still unfamiliar with how to react to bikes. They think we're nuts. I think I'm nuts too, but it keeps me happy. I love you're site, Take care, Cheers.
