Commutes 13 Klometers RoundTrip for 20 years and months
Seven days a week, my bike is my primary transportation Year Round

I use a cycleway beside a motorway, and a horribly busy road by the University

I'm involved in CAN (cycling Advocates Network, www.can.org) and CAA (Cycle Action Auckland, the local branch). I grew in Christchurch, NZ, which is a great place to cycle. Auckland has to deal with worse road design problems, and many inconsiderate & impatient motorists, so it has further to go to be cycle friendly.

My fiance and I were recently filmed for Breakfast TV, the item is or was on the TVNZ website under "Features" dealing with Auckland transport woes (go there via www.nzoom.co.nz, I think). (The city has really bad traffic congestion due to HIGH rates of motorvehicle ownership & use). We were seen as having found a novel way to commute! (Cycle commuters are pretty rare in Akl!)

Looking forward to seeing this database grow.
