Commutes 12 Miles RoundTrip for 15 years and months
Five Days a week, I use my bike to travel to and from work Year Round

Travel on main street (medium traffic volume)mostly, some side streets thru Chicago suburb. In warmer weather I get up earlier and do 15-20 mile ride into work. Part of this route is through forest preserve trail. With the price of fuel increasing I'm glad I'm in the kind of shape I'm in so that I can continue to ride. Maybe I'll set an example to others that could be giving it some serious thought in light of increased auto commute expenses. It's the best way to start the day and get to work. I've done varying distances over the last 15 years and currently enjoy my 6 mile (one way) commute. I hope I can do this until I retire (then I'll just ride anywhere and everywhere.

I'm a pharmacist, by profession (use to commute to the community pharmacy where I worked for many years) but now I work for staffing agency that is related to pharmacy. I have given my e-mail address at work but please use only for important or timely info, thanks.

I do but I've had enough computer for one day. Will try to write back via e-mail.

Great idea, I hope many people find your site. Might want to contact (if you haven't already) local bicycle clubs and Chicagoland Bicycle Federation.
