| About_me |
My summer commuter is a 2002 Brodie Unibomber which I upgraded by adding a Kona Project 2 fork and a Shimano Deore disc brake.
In winter a 1998 Raleigh Peak STX, 24-speed Shimano STX-RC drivetrain. I started using this bike when my trusty old Specialized Hardrock bit the dust after 4 winters. The Raleigh is the only bike of the 5 I own with rim brakes front and rear (the Brodie still has a rim brake on the back). No more rim brakes for me. |
