Have converted my Cannondale H600 (1994) into a pretty darn durable commuter. SoftRide Power Stem (my nod to the potholes of LA), Conti TT 700x32 (have 35's on order), Newk bar ends, Serfas RX saddle (should I go leather?), cheap-o Trek rear rack w/ bags, NiteRider Evolution headlight (highly recommended), and lots of Pearl Izumi screaming yellow (which I discovered could also be called "Vitamin Piss yellow."). |
