We live right on the bayou so we have a nice trail for 2/3 of the trip. I cycle to my son's school with him (about 3.5 miles), get him locked up and then head on to work. Off the trail, it is mostly residential streets. |

Though Houston gets a bad rap as a cycling town, if you live in Houston proper, there are plenty of places and ways to get around. I can count at least 12-14 different folk I see on the bayou trail in the mornings and afternoons going and coming to work. |
