John Meacham's Commute Bike, a Novara Randonee from REI.com

Nelson C's Commute Bike Complete with Snow Tires.  Here's a picture of my commuter bike. A Surley Cross-Check Cyclo-Cross frame with the Nokian W106 snow tires. I commuted into Boston all winter. They're great on the ice.. "If you think I'm crazy, look at my son!" Bikecommute.com note:  his son is barefoot we don't know about the dog :-)

OUCH!

John Tafolla tries out a new lubricant for his bicycle chain. John Says, "This isn't a commuting picture, but it's a good example of what the big chain ring can do when it comes in contact with the human body".

Jim Baross Commute Bike. Jim says, "This bike works great for my 7 mile each way commute especially because with it's chainguard and fenders I can ride in the dress pants, white shirt and tie that I wear at work... and since it's so heavy, I get a good workout on the half hour rides. The windshield was just added this year to fend off some cold air and rain... alright, we don't get much rain here in San Diego and it's not too cold either compared to some places, but what the heck, it's fun to ride a bike that catches people's eye. The bike is an old Specialized Globe Voyager 7... a cool cruiser for this 55 year old commuter".

Ben Sanford says, " Attached is a photo of my Waterford Track bike that I use almost daily to commute into DC. Gearing is 42x16 which works well for the rolling terrain. I generally ride into town before dawn, so I have front and rear lights. Since I don't have braze-on for a rack, I carry clothing in a backpack. The twisted front spokes are just for fun".

Stewart Chen says, "I live in Taiwan. The bike is produced by Giant The bridge in the picture is 50 years old. Fifty years ago, it was the longest bridge in Fareast. As time goes by, it exists only for vivising.

Carolyn Stafford off on her commute. Carolyn says, "This photo was taken one day recently as I was preparing to leave work".

John Vance John says, "Me at Red River 1999. It's not a commute picture, but that's the bike I ride to work about 3/4 of the time, especially when I'm riding a loop in the morning instead of riding straight in".

Jonathan Wenski's Commute Bike. Jonathan says, "Hi. I'm Jonathan Wenski, and this is my commuting bike. Trek 700 (ca. 1991), with Matrix 700x35 tires, Power Grip pedals, CyclePro rack, Schwinn 1L saddlebag, VistaLite VL-300 blinky, Kryptonite U-Lock, and lovely milk crate from high school (ca. 1983)".
